This is a personal project to experiment with new construction paper textures. The technique was inspired by the work of Jade Ormsby. I used vector contruction paper and cut out each shape to simulate real paper cut art using Adobe Illustrator.
This piece is a representation of things that I love. The C for my last name, my favorite vacation destination, my love for ocean animals and rainbows.
This is a detail shot of the ship which is based on the Disney Wonder, the first ship I ever sailed on.
